Household and Hygiene Items

Most refugee families arrive to the U.S. carrying all of their belongings in just one or two bags. You can help provide ONE MORE refugee family with household items and other basic necessities as they begin to rebuild their lives here in America.

Nashville- If you have large items to donate, please contact our Resource Developers, Burton Holloway or Joel Bruerd, at (615) 833.7735, ext. 222, to discuss pick up options.

All donations may be dropped off at 1655 Murfreesboro Pike, Suite G, Nashville, TN, 37217. Drop off hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday by appointment.

Memphis- If you have large items to donate, please contact our Church Mobilizer/Volunteer Coordinator, at (901) 314.0025, to discuss pick up options.

All donations may be dropped off at 2181 Union Ave., Memphis, TN 38104. Drop off hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday by appointment.

Each week our greatest needs vary but the following is a list of our basic, ongoing needs (*non-essential):

Gift Certificates

Grocery store gift certificates- minimum of $25 increments. Preferred stores include Kroger, Wal-Mart, and Food Lion. Thrift Smart (thrift store) gift certificate.

Cars

World Relief does accept donated cars to help refugees access much needed jobs. All charitable donations are tax deductible are tax deductible based on current Kelly Blue Book values.
